Centering the Margins Workshop – Prince Albert

  • Prince Albert Public Library 125 12 Street East Prince Albert, SK, S6V 1B7 Canada (map)

Common Weal Community Arts invites you to a special evening of reflection and dialogue. We will begin with a screening of From the Margins, a compelling documentary that explores anti-Black racism and the lived experiences of Black communities in Saskatchewan.

Following the screening, the Centering the Margins workshop will provide a welcoming space to reflect on the film, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversations about race, identity, and belonging. The workshop will be facilitated by Lemoya Lorensen

Admission is free, and all are welcome.

Need help with transportation? Please contact Judy at 306-960-3833 for assistance.

Let’s come together to center voices from the margins and inspire change in our communities.

This workshop is made possible with the partnership of Prince Albert Public Library. We are grateful for the support of the Canadian Race Relation Foundation, Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan, and the Department of Canadian Heritage.
