The Women and 2 Spirits Hand Drum Program is a free, 9-week long drumming and singing program focused on revitalizing culture while healing through sacred medicine.

Through smudge and talking circles, participants are encouraged to connect with each other in a safe space, and build confidence. Facilitated by members of the 7th Fire Singers, a grassroots group of women and 2-Spirits living and practicing their art in Treaty 6 territory. Spanning several generations of Indigenous women, they are knowledge keepers, activists, and leaders within their communities. As mothers, aunties and sisters, they hold each other within wahkotowin.

This program is free and generously funded by the Dakota Dunes Community Development Corporation and supported by Station 20 West.
